About
Bank Souk Sawda is an art piece made entirely from Lebanese currency: banknotes shredded by the Central Bank of Lebanon and given away as promotional material, re-made by hand into a Hard Currency of our own.
Every Hard Currency is hand printed and carries a Master Key that links it to its owner.
For a decade, the Central Bank of Lebanon has been creating promotional material out of shredded local currency. We created a re-interpretation of the renowned Lebanese Lira bill out of this material, for no other reason than that we can.
This BankSoukSawda.com art piece is 99% handmade.
